Experienced Electrical Technician

Location: Galliano, Louisiana, with offshore assignments at hirify.global-operated Gulf of America deepwater facilities. Work follows a 14-days-on, 14-days-off rotation with 12-hour day and night shifts. Relocation and expatriate assignments are not considered.

What you will do

• Monitor, troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical equipment used in offshore oil and gas production.
• Maintain motors, switchgear, motor control centers, transformers, lighting systems, generators, DC and UPS systems, HVAC systems, and associated controls.
• Review equipment trends and apply reliability engineering principles to improve performance and efficiency.
• Gather, prioritize, and help schedule electrical maintenance projects.
• Use SAP to create work orders and support inventory and work planning.
• Coordinate with employees and contractors while following operational excellence, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least three years of recent electrical experience in the petroleum or chemical industry.
• Ability and willingness to work offshore on a 14-and-14 rotation, including 12-hour night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience troubleshooting and maintaining electronic instrumentation and electrical equipment associated with process systems.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and a valid driver's license.
• Ability to complete post-offer drug and alcohol screening, background checks, physical examination, and functional capacity examination.

Nice to have

• Associate degree in electrical, electronic, instrumentation, or petroleum technology with a GPA of 2.5 or higher.
• Five or more years of recent electrical experience in the oil, gas, or chemical industry.
• USCG licensing.
• Experience at a hirify.global-operated Gulf of America deepwater facility.
