Field Electrical Technician (eTech) (Oil & Gas)

Location: Onsite five days a week in Midland, Texas, with Fort Worth, Texas as an additional location; requires 50% or more travel, including domestic and international travel. Relocation assistance is available. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $97,530–$146,290 per year.

What you will do

• Serve as the primary technical resource for customers and dealers on electrical systems, troubleshooting, and complex product issues.
• Provide hands-on support at customer sites, including commissioning, field investigations, training, and product performance activities.
• Partner with customers, service teams, manufacturing, and product development to turn field feedback into product improvements.
• Investigate quality and reliability concerns, perform root cause analysis, and drive corrective actions.
• Evaluate manufacturing and design processes and recommend improvements to product quality, serviceability, and production efficiency.
• Communicate technical specifications, product updates, and service recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Degree in electrical engineering or an equivalent technical degree.
• Technical expertise in electrical systems and product applications.
• Experience with troubleshooting, problem solving, customer support, and technical consulting.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly to different stakeholders.
• Ability to work onsite five days per week and travel 50% or more.
• Must be able to work without visa sponsorship.
