TL;DR

Commercial Development Lead (Biotech): Building strategic partnerships with pharmaceutical companies and driving product-led commercialization across the hirify.global platform with an accent on converting the pipeline into high-impact programs and expanding existing accounts. Focus on shaping offerings, collaborating with product and data teams, and building scalable commercial models.

Location: All full-time roles are in person in New York.

Salary: $180,000 - $240,000

What you will do

  • Serve as a strategic partner to biopharma companies, deeply understanding their goals and needs.
  • Own revenue targets and lead the full lifecycle of new client partnerships, from discovery to expansion.
  • Design pricing strategies and deal structures that reflect platform value and establish repeatable commercial models.
  • Collaborate with product, data, and delivery teams to shape data and product offerings.
  • Build sales infrastructure and eventually lead a team of generalist BD and client-facing operators.
  • Explore and execute new opportunities, including strategic partnerships and new products/services.

Requirements

  • 6–12 years of experience in strategic partnerships, commercialization, or product-driven BD.
  • Background in life sciences consulting, data platforms, digital health, or pharma-adjacent strategy roles.
  • Executive presence and fluency to engage senior leaders and drive alignment.
  • Technical background and/or experience working with complex data (SQL and low-code tools).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Track record of moving quickly and delivering on goals.
