Senior Analyst, Operational Risk Management (Hybrid)

Location: Hybrid, requiring three days per week in a U.S. office hub: Cedar Rapids, Baltimore, Denver, or Philadelphia. Relocation assistance is not provided.

Salary: $80,000–$95,000 annually, plus potential eligibility for an annual bonus.

What you will do

• Participate in operational risk assessments across assigned business groups.
• Review process designs and identify improvements that increase efficiency and quality.
• Monitor and report action plan status, support root cause analysis, and evaluate remediation adequacy.
• Execute process risk assessments and support management control testing.
• Collaborate with risk management, business and functional management, compliance, IT, and Internal Audit.
• Record, update, and report risk issues, events, and action plans in the Governance, Risk & Compliance tool.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a relevant field.
• At least four years of experience in operational risk management, internal controls, audit, or an equivalent operational role.
• Knowledge of risk management principles, process flows, risk and control assessment, testing, monitoring, and metrics.
• Ability to present to and interact with management at various levels and build relationships across the organization.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without immigration sponsorship or employer-of-record immigration support is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in insurance or financial services.
• Data analytics experience, particularly Power BI or advanced Excel.
• CPA, CIA, or CISA certification.
