Team Lead, Regional & National North America Operations (Insurance Operations)

Location: Armonk, New York, US, or Kansas City, Missouri, US; hybrid work with an expectation of three office days per week

Salary: $80,000–$120,000 base salary in Kansas City or $88,000–$132,000 base salary in Armonk

What you will do

• Lead day-to-day operations for Regional & National North America and Direct Claims Operations teams.
• Monitor workflow, KPIs, service quality, resource allocation, and process optimization.
• Drive operational excellence through continuous improvement initiatives, strategic projects, and eAdmin initiatives.
• Maintain operational risk awareness, RCSA controls, audit requirements, issue remediation, and business continuity support.
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and represent the team in leadership and business engagement activities.
• Coach and develop employees through feedback, performance management, succession planning, recruitment, onboarding, and career support.

Requirements

• Leadership experience in operations with a record of driving results and leading through change.
• Strong understanding of operational controls, risk management, governance processes, and KPI management.
• Experience with coaching, performance feedback, talent development, and employee engagement.
• Strategic, solution-focused mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• College degree preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience in reinsurance, insurance, claims, or client-facing operations.
• Experience leading cross-functional or geographically dispersed teams.
• Experience with recruitment, onboarding, workforce planning, succession planning, or organizational change programs.
