Team Lead, Broker North America Operations (Insurance)

Location: Armonk, New York, US, or Kansas City, Missouri, US. Hybrid work model with an expectation of being in the office three days per week.

Base salary: $80,000–$120,000 in Kansas City or $88,000–$132,000 in Armonk, paid annually.

What you will do

• Lead day-to-day operations for the Broker North America Operations team and manage workflow, resource allocation, KPIs, and service quality.
• Drive process improvement initiatives and strategic projects, including eAdmin initiatives.
• Maintain operational risk awareness, RCSA controls, audit requirements, issue remediation, and a strong control environment.
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and represent the team in leadership visits, town halls, regional calls, and business engagements.
• Coach, mentor, develop, and performance-manage employees while supporting succession planning and SME development.
• Support recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, integration, and operational continuity during peak periods or critical business events.

Requirements

• Proven leadership experience in operations and the ability to lead through change.
• Strong understanding of operational controls, risk management, governance processes, and KPI management.
• Experience with coaching, performance feedback, talent development, and employee engagement.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in the hybrid model with office attendance three days per week in Armonk or Kansas City.
• College degree preferred.
