Test Engineer (Top Secret Clearance Required)

What you will do

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test strategies for mission-critical systems.
• Build and maintain automated test suites and frameworks for regression, functional, performance, back-end, and front-end testing.
• Execute CI pipeline testing with Jest, Cypress, and Playwright, including testing in AWS, OpenShift, and other cloud development environments.
• Review requirements, test cases, release validation activities, and test plans in collaboration with Product Owners, Developers, Architects, and QA Managers.
• Identify defects, analyze test results, document quality metrics, and provide actionable feedback to development teams.
• Support SAFe Agile ceremonies and help maintain overall system code coverage above 80%.

Requirements

• Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain SCI and a CI Polygraph.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 or Level 3 certification compliance, such as Security+.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree with relevant experience, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with DevOps-based test automation, configuration control, traceability, repeatability, and Agile testing practices.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, cloud platforms such as AWS, OpenShift, Python or similar scripting languages, and CI pipeline testing.
• Experience creating, executing, documenting, and evaluating test cases and automated test suites.

Nice to have

• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
• Git, unit testing, continuous integration tools, and service-oriented or virtualization environment experience.
• SQL and database analysis, AWS CloudFormation, and DoD Aeronautical Datasets experience.
• Experience tracing test failures to code changes and reviewing code check-ins for functional impact.
