QA Automation Engineer

What you will do

• Design, evaluate, implement, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for Windows UI applications.
• Extend automation coverage to web applications and support Selenium-based UI automation.
• Develop automated functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end tests.
• Implement data-driven testing, parallel execution, automated reporting, test data management, and configuration management.
• Integrate automation with test management, defect tracking, CI/CD pipelines, and automated test execution.
• Define automation standards and roadmaps, evaluate tools through proof-of-concept initiatives, create documentation and metrics, and mentor QA professionals.

Requirements

• Strong experience designing and implementing test automation frameworks and architectures.
• Experience automating Windows desktop and web UI applications.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, testing strategies, and software development lifecycles.
• Experience with functional, regression, and smoke testing.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, mentoring, and training skills.
• Ability to collaborate with QA, Development, Infrastructure, and Product teams.

Nice to have

• C#, .NET, JavaScript, Python, PowerShell, SQL, and relational databases.
• UI test frameworks, test management platforms, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD pipelines.
• AWS, Microsoft Azure, SaaS applications, cloud-based platforms, and cloud testing.
• Load testing and performance testing tools.
• Experience with enterprise ERP, transportation technology, transit scheduling systems, HASTUS, Trapeze FX, or Trapeze OPS.
