QA Automation Engineer

Location: 100% remote within the United States

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks for enterprise web applications, REST APIs, and distributed systems.
• Expand automated test coverage and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Apply risk-based, exploratory, and continuous testing strategies.
• Partner with development teams to accelerate confident software delivery.
• Debug test failures and support quality engineering in Agile environments.

Requirements

• Must be eligible to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen, Green Card holder, EAD holder, or H-1B transfer candidate.
• 12+ years of QA automation experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright, plus REST API automation.
• Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines and working with SQL for data validation.
• Knowledge of testing methodologies, software development life cycles, Agile/Scrum, debugging, problem-solving, and technical documentation.

Nice to have

• Performance testing with JMeter, Gatling, or k6.
• Containerized test environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Cloud-based testing platforms such as BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.
• Behavior-driven development with Cucumber or SpecFlow.
• Security testing fundamentals, including OWASP and basic penetration testing.
