Senior Audit Manager, Wealth Management

Location: Toronto, ON, Canada; hybrid arrangement with 1–3 days per week on-site at Toronto-81 Bay

What you will do

• Plan and manage audits of large or complex Wealth Management businesses.
• Identify key business processes, inherent risks, management and operational controls, and residual risks.
• Design audit procedures and test key controls to assess their design and effectiveness.
• Identify and assess significant control weaknesses, including their severity, materiality, and potential impact.
• Drive clear, concise, and professional audit reporting.
• Lead multi-skilled audit assignments and coach team members on development needs without direct people-management responsibility.

Requirements

• Comprehensive knowledge of auditing practices, accounting principles, and accounting processes.
• Strong Wealth Management knowledge, including Asset Management, Brokerage, and Private Wealth Management.
• Knowledge of the related regulatory environment in Canada.
• Auditing or accounting designation such as CA, CMA, CFA, CPA, or ACCA, or a business degree such as an MBA, combined with relevant banking, financial services, audit, assurance, or consulting experience.
• Strong critical thinking, investigation, communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills.
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada and, where applicable, a valid work or study permit.
