Accounting Analyst (NetSuite, 12 Month FTC)

Location: Waterloo, Ontario, Canada

Salary: CAD 60,800–79,800 annually

What you will do

• Provide accounting operations and compliance support during the NetSuite ERP reimplementation.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including journal entries and financial reporting.
• Prepare general ledger reconciliations, investigate variances, and resolve aged balances and historical discrepancies.
• Support transfer pricing, intercompany accruals, settlements, and payment-clearing activities.
• Prepare NetSuite purchase requisitions, validate vendor invoices, and support audit requests and government filings.
• Improve, standardize, and automate accounting processes and internal controls.

Requirements

• Accounting or financial analysis experience with a degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP, especially AP and GL modules.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, general ledger accounting, reconciliations, journal entries, and close processes.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and collaborate across finance teams.
