Senior Fund Accountant, Private Markets

Location: Toronto, ON, Canada; hybrid

Salary: CAD 72,000–CAD 105,600 per year

What you will do

• Prepare reconciliations for cash, positions, and accruals of client funds.
• Price portfolios in line with fund documents and valuation policies.
• Calculate and allocate capital calls, distributions, management fees, and waterfall fees.
• Prepare investor allocations, NAV packages, audited financial statements, and regulatory deliverables.
• Communicate with internal teams and external clients to complete deliverables and requests.
• Handle ad hoc requests and projects.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in fund administration.
• Experience in private equity or real estate operations.
• Understanding of basic private equity or real estate operations.
• University degree in a relevant field or equivalent education and related work experience.
• Advanced investigative, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience with Investran is preferred.
