What you will do

  • Develop, validate, document, maintain, and support manufacturing processes, equipment, and process controls for electro-mechanical medical devices.
  • Represent manufacturing engineering in new product development and transfer designs into production.
  • Improve process flows, production testing, ergonomics, quality, efficiency, delivery, and cost.
  • Create and execute IQ, OQ, PQ, TMV, and Gage R&R validation protocols.
  • Lead cross-functional FMEA activities and support risk management, product transfers, and sustaining changes.
  • Work with Operations, suppliers, and Quality Assurance to resolve quality problems and implement technical solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of Operations Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with ISO quality systems and regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Experience with FMEA, control plans, process requirements, and quality tools.
  • Proficiency in Lean and problem-solving methods, with a strong focus on process improvement.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Minitab, and SolidWorks.
