Quality Engineer II (QA Automation)

Location: Onsite in Dakota Dunes, South Dakota, United States

Salary: $70,000–$130,000 annually, plus performance-based bonuses and possible stock compensation.

What you will do

• Test revenue platform applications through manual regression testing and automated testing.
• Translate product and business documentation into functional test plans and testing strategies.
• Build, maintain, and run automation frameworks and test scripts.
• Analyze requirements, risks, dependencies, and software layers to validate release quality.
• Collaborate with QA and development teams on advanced troubleshooting, infrastructure testing, SSH controls of TVs, and Vudip platform modifications.
• Document defects and support cross-functional communication across software components.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or a related field, or 3 years of relevant quality assurance or testing experience.
• Experience with an object-oriented programming language, API testing, and manual or automated testing.
• Experience with GitLab or GitHub and test management tools such as TestRail, TestLink, Confluence, and Jira.
• Knowledge of SQL, JQL analytics, software layers, advanced networking, and troubleshooting practices.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, documentation, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and drive issues through to quality results.

Nice to have

• Quality assurance certification such as CSTE or CSQA.
• Industry experience in retail, supply chain, ecommerce, or healthcare.
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility best practices.
