Workday Quality Assurance Lead (Workday)

Salary: $97,000–$131,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end QA strategy for Workday implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.
• Define test plans, strategies, frameworks, risk assessments, and mitigation plans.
• Oversee functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing across Workday HCM, Finance, Payroll, Time Tracking, and related integrations.
• Manage the full defect lifecycle, including prioritization, tracking, resolution, and status reporting.
• Coordinate test data preparation, environment management, release validation, and quality reporting.
• Partner with business stakeholders, developers, business analysts, system integrators, vendors, and delivery partners to ensure UAT readiness and sign-off.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• 5+ years of quality assurance experience, including 3+ years supporting Workday implementations or ERP transformation programs.
• Deep understanding of Workday business processes and configurations.
• Experience with Jira or Azure DevOps, Workday functional test automation, functional testing, and end-to-end testing methodologies.
• Hands-on experience planning and executing UAT, managing defects, tracking QA metrics, and preparing reports.
• Strong communication, facilitation, stakeholder-management, organizational, and tradeoff decision-making skills.

Nice to have

• Professional Services Automation implementation experience or experience in professional services, accounting, or financial services.
• Workday PRO certification or formal QA certification such as ISTQB, CSQA, or Agile Testing.
• Experience across multiple Workday modules, including HCM, Finance, Integrations, and Payroll.
• Experience coordinating distributed, offshore, or third-party delivery teams.
• Knowledge of Agile frameworks and third-party integration testing.
