Manufacturing Equipment Technician (MTE) - Back End Nights Shift - Shift 6

Location: On-site in Phoenix, Arizona, United States. Night shift hours are 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, with alternating 3-day and 4-day work weeks.

Annual salary range: $60,450–$116,640 USD for the hourly role.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues in semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Set up, calibrate, repair, and perform corrective and preventive maintenance on wet chemistry, plating, and dry high-vacuum toolsets.
• Analyze tool performance data to identify reliability issues and minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to improve equipment functionality and streamline processes.
• Document maintenance activities, repair findings, and parts usage in established systems.
• Lead or support root cause analysis, equipment optimization, and other continuous improvement projects in a cleanroom environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field and 2+ years of experience; or an associate degree in a technical field and 5+ years of equipment maintenance experience.
• Alternatively, a high school diploma/GED or higher with 4+ years of semiconductor field service maintenance experience or 6+ years of related hands-on or military technical experience.
• Ability to lift 25-pound parts, climb ladders, and stand or walk for up to 80% of the workday.
• Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with peers and engineering teams.
• Ability to work on-site in a cleanroom while wearing required attire and following safety protocols.

Nice to have

• Experience troubleshooting, installing, repairing, and operating electromechanical equipment in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Experience with wet chemistry, plating, and dry high-vacuum equipment.
• Proficiency with multimeters, oscilloscopes, calipers, micrometers, electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and torque wrenches.
