Senior HR Tech Business Analyst (Automation & AI)

Location: Based in Berlin, Germany; hybrid, office-first model. Regular collaboration is required across European, APAC, and US time zones. Work from another location is available for up to 60 days per year depending on the role.

What you will do

• Partner with HR teams across the hire-to-retire lifecycle to analyse processes, identify gaps, and define automation and technology opportunities.
• Translate HR business needs into functional and technical requirements implemented through Workday, HRIS, AI, and automation solutions.
• Build, deploy, and maintain Claude-based applications and AI-powered internal tools with secure authentication, access controls, MCPs, APIs, and custom connectors.
• Design and build automation workflows using n8n, UiPath, Python-based automation, and GenAI/LLM technologies, including orchestration, exception handling, monitoring, and governance.
• Drive HR Tech initiatives from requirements and solution design through build, SIT/UAT, implementation, and go-live.
• Develop scalable HR technology products and frameworks, including Jira-based service desks, Rovo Agents, and AI-enabled employee and HR experiences.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience as an HR Tech Analyst, HR Business or Process Analyst, AI and Automation Analyst, or in a similar role.
• Deep HR domain knowledge across hire-to-retire processes and strong experience analysing processes and defining functional and technical requirements.
• Essential experience with Workday and a complex HR technology landscape.
• Hands-on experience with n8n, Python scripts, UiPath, GenAI/LLM tooling, cloud applications, APIs, MCPs, custom connectors, and enterprise integrations.
• Understanding of Claude/GenAI application deployment, RBAC/ABAC, authentication, access governance, and protection of sensitive HR data.
• Working knowledge of Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence, Rovo Agents, and BPMN.

Nice to have

• Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, HR Technology, Business Technology, or a related field.
• n8n, Workday, business or process analysis, automation, or agile delivery certifications.
• Experience with Six Sigma, SAFe, Scrum, PMP, or Archimate.
