Sr Associate IS Analyst (Infrastructure)

What you will do

• Manage the lifecycle of instrument controller software and laboratory computing platforms with the Benchtop Product Team.
• Support scientists and IS colleagues with laboratory computers, software, Windows upgrades, and system troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with vendors on controller software, drivers, patches, and other software packages.
• Build and support DEV, TEST, and PROD environments across cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
• Test updates, develop migration strategies, and maintain platform availability.
• Create lifecycle documentation and manage ServiceNow activities, including access reviews, application records, end-of-life servers, and orphaned assets.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in systems administration and infrastructure.
• Experience with networking, DNS, firewalls, security, patching, AWS, and VMware.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Experience developing and maintaining scripts to automate server tasks.
• Ability to define infrastructure requirements, evaluate vendor recommendations, troubleshoot issues, and manage technology lifecycle projects.
• Doctorate with 2 years, master's degree with 8–10 years, bachelor's degree with 10–14 years, or diploma with 14–18 years of relevant experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with Smartsheet, Excel, or Tableau.
• Experience with generative AI tools such as ChatGPT or Copilot and familiarity with large language models such as Llama.
• Experience working with business partners to shape and deliver solutions.
