Program Manager II (Aerospace/Defense)

Location: Teal Drones, Salt Lake City, Utah 84115, United States; frequent travel of up to 25% may be required. The role includes regular facility-based physical duties and occasional off-hours or weekend work.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end execution of complex customer programs across cost, schedule, technical performance, and delivery objectives.
• Develop and manage program plans, budgets, resource plans, lifecycle plans, and integrated schedules.
• Establish program controls, metrics, success criteria, and risk mitigation plans.
• Lead program reviews and execution meetings with customers, executive leadership, government agencies, and commercial partners.
• Manage scope changes, delivery-of-record programs, U.S. Government prime contractor relationships, and customer communications.
• Support capture planning, proposal development, customer engagement, data analysis, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of Program or Project Management experience in aerospace or defense; experience with complex multidisciplinary or UAS programs is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. Government procurement processes, prime contractor relationships, export processes, and end-user certificate requirements.
• Proficiency with program management methods and Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project.
• Strong communication, prioritization, accountability, judgment, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Must be eligible to access ITAR- and EAR-controlled technical data without export authorization; eligible individuals include U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, and persons with protected status under U.S. law. Visa sponsorship is not available for export-restricted work authorization.

Nice to have

• 10 or more years of experience in complex Program Management.
• PMP certification.
• Experience working with U.S. Government agencies.
• Background in a highly technical or engineering-driven environment.
