Focus on maintaining cost, schedule, technical, and quality commitments, resolving customer and supplier issues, and supporting new business capture and post-delivery product support.

Location: Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, United States; periodic travel to customer and supplier sites is required.

Salary: $113,900–$151,800 per year.

What you will do

  • Lead cross-functional teams across manufacturing, engineering, quality, testing, supply chain, and contracts.
  • Manage successful execution of naval pump programs supporting US Navy submarine construction.
  • Coordinate complex pump assembly build, testing, schedule attainment, and on-time delivery to shipyard customers.
  • Act as the primary customer interface and prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly progress reports.
  • Develop project budgets, monitor financial performance, prepare forecasts, and present sales, cash flow, EAC accuracy, and profitability results.
  • Identify and mitigate program risks, resolve critical issues, and support business development and post-delivery product support.

Requirements

  • At least five years of program or project management experience leading the build, testing, and delivery of complex electromechanical assemblies in aerospace or defense.
  • Experience with financial forecasting, EAC management, schedule management, and risk management.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or business management.
  • Strong customer relationship, communication, writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of government contracting requirements.
  • Must be a US citizen and capable of obtaining and maintaining a Department of Defense security clearance.

Nice to have

  • PMP certification.
  • Lean or Six Sigma experience and knowledge.
