Lighting Maintenance Technician

Location: Remote within a home-based territory covering multiple grocery store locations in approximately a 75-mile radius; listed locations include Philadelphia, PA and Prospect Park, PA.

Salary: $23.10–$34.65 per hour.

What you will do

• Perform scheduled preventive and predictive maintenance for grocery-chain lighting systems.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, HVAC, lighting, and other facility systems.
• Identify lighting component problems using precision measuring and testing instruments.
• Manage equipment, parts, and supply inventories.
• Prepare daily maintenance reports covering parts and labor.
• Drive an assigned company service vehicle and respond to emergency maintenance situations.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record are required.
• Ability to lift up to 50–75 pounds and remain on foot for extended periods.
• Ability to use hand tools, climb ladders, bend, stoop, and walk long distances repeatedly during the day.
• Proficiency in mechanical calibration and ability to read blueprints and sketches.
• Ability to learn lighting applications and inventory parts, coordinate schedules, and interpret complex data.
