Maintenance Manager (Power Plant)

What you will do

• Lead and develop the plant maintenance team, set operational goals, and manage performance.
• Plan, schedule, and direct preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
• Manage maintenance budgets, control costs, and report key performance indicators to senior management.
• Respond to equipment failures and operational disruptions to minimize downtime.
• Develop long-term asset management and continuous improvement strategies for plant reliability and equipment lifespan.
• Manage spare-parts and tools procurement, inventory levels, maintenance data, and failure-trend analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5–8 years of experience in power generation, maintenance, or plant operations; candidates with more or less experience may be considered for another level.
• Technical knowledge of power plant systems, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, high-pressure steam, and mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation equipment.
• Leadership experience with the ability to drive performance and build a collaborative, safety-focused culture.
• Strong communication, organizational, digital, problem-solving, and continuous improvement skills.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
