Technical Project Manager (AI Data)

Location: Remote within the United Kingdom, Germany, or Poland

Salary: £5,000–£7,000 per month

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end AI data programs for automatic speech recognition, from pilots and calibration through scaled production and final delivery.
• Plan scope, staffing, milestones, capacity, forecasts, delivery costs, and margin targets.
• Lead readiness reviews, quality checkpoints, acceptance milestones, and timely decision-making.
• Build and manage multilingual distributed teams through clear expectations, training, and feedback.
• Ensure datasets meet customer quality standards while maintaining privacy, confidentiality, and secure data handling.
• Partner with customers, Research, Quality, and Engineering to resolve issues, improve workflows, and build reusable delivery tools and playbooks.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience managing high-volume, deadline-driven service delivery in data annotation, transcription, localization, content operations, BPO, or a comparable field.
• Experience leading distributed teams and using data, dashboards, and forecasting to guide delivery, quality, and cost decisions.
• Working knowledge of quality assurance for AI training data, including evaluation, sampling, and acceptance criteria.
• Excellent written English and fluency in an additional language required.
• Ability to bring structure to ambiguous requirements and commit to the full contract term.
• Four-month fixed-term contract requiring 4–6 hours per day.

Nice to have

• Experience with speech or audio datasets, ASR training data, or transcription.
• Experience working with low-resource languages and multilingual teams across international markets.
• Experience with privacy-sensitive data programs.
• Familiarity with annotation platforms and Jira.
