Technical Project Manager (Data and AI)

Location: Irvine, California; must be local to Orange County/Southern California and work on-site 2–3 days per week at the client site.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end delivery of a high-visibility real-time technology platform from inception through deployment.
• Coordinate business stakeholders and engineering teams to deliver complex technology solutions.
• Translate business requirements into technical tasks, API specifications, and sprint backlogs.
• Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
• Manage project risks, roadblocks, and cross-team dependencies.
• Report progress, milestones, and project health metrics to senior leadership and client sponsors.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience delivering complex custom software, enterprise integrations, or data-driven technology solutions.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and practical Agile delivery experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively with developers, technical teams, senior business leaders, and client stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving skills, including the ability to discuss technical implementation with developers.
• Must be local to Orange County/Southern California and available for hybrid work in Irvine.
• Available immediately for an estimated six-month consulting engagement; 1099/Independent Contractor arrangement preferred.
