Strategic Projects Lead (AI Training)

Location: Remote within the United States; ability to work primarily within U.S. time zones

What you will do

• Own end-to-end delivery of AI training projects, from customer scoping through successful execution.
• Assess project feasibility, timelines, operational requirements, pricing inputs, and delivery risks.
• Develop sourcing strategies and recruit, onboard, and manage specialized contributor communities.
• Design scalable workflows for task distribution, contributor communications, quality assurance, escalations, and delivery.
• Track recruiting, activation, throughput, quality, cost, and retention metrics, adjusting plans to maintain project performance.
• Build repeatable processes and scalable operating systems for the growing AI Training business.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience leading complex cross-functional projects in operations, strategic programs, consulting, AI training, marketplaces, expert networks, talent platforms, data operations, or similar environments.
• Experience managing projects involving large populations of contractors, contributors, participants, experts, or other external workforces.
• Strong project management, analytical, problem-solving, and project economics skills.
• Ability to build processes from the ground up, manage ambiguity, and balance strategic thinking with detailed execution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including direct customer and cross-functional collaboration.
• Must be located in the United States and able to work primarily within U.S. time zones.

Nice to have

• Experience in AI training or human data organizations.
• Familiarity with annotation, evaluations, quality assurance, reinforcement learning environments, expert data, or post-training workflows.
