Supplier Quality Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in Mineral Wells, Texas, United States. Monday–Thursday schedule with 10-hour shifts.

Salary: $90,000–$120,000 annually.

What you will do

• Serve as the primary quality liaison between hirify.global and its suppliers.
• Evaluate, approve, audit, and monitor suppliers using quality performance metrics and scorecards.
• Investigate supplier-related quality issues, manage nonconformances and material rejections, and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Review First Article Inspection reports and supplier qualification documentation.
• Conduct supplier process and quality system audits and support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams while ensuring compliance with applicable standards, specifications, and contractual requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• At least three years of experience in a manufacturing quality role.
• Experience in a team-based manufacturing environment and with supplier quality management.
• Working knowledge of quality engineering, quality assurance, and inspection methodologies.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis and root cause investigation tools, including SPC, 5 Why, and Fault Tree Analysis.
• Ability to work onsite in Mineral Wells, Texas, and access U.S. export-controlled information is required for the position.

Nice to have

• Experience as a Quality Engineer or Supplier Quality Engineer.
• AS9100 Quality System Auditor training or certification.
• Experience conducting supplier quality system and process audits.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies.
