Houston Technology Audit & Advisory Senior Manager (AI)

Location: Houston, Texas, United States. Hybrid work with in-person time at local hirify.global offices and client sites; local or out-of-state travel may be required. hirify.global is not registered to hire or employ personnel in West Virginia or Alaska.

Salary: $118,000–$189,000 per year, plus a 14% bonus target. Estimated total cash range: $134,520–$215,460.

What you will do

• Lead technology audit and advisory engagements, including planning, fieldwork, reporting, process flows, work programs, and control summaries.
• Help clients assess and manage technology risks across cybersecurity, cloud, IT general controls, data privacy, enterprise applications, resilience, and emerging technologies.
• Apply analytics, automation, AI, and other technology tools to improve audit efficiency and insight.
• Manage project work plans, supervise teams, review deliverables, mentor staff, and support performance development.
• Build relationships with client personnel and senior executives, communicate audit issues clearly, and contribute to proposals and business development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related business discipline.
• At least 7 years of experience in technology audit, consulting, assurance, risk and control programs, or a related field.
• Experience leading teams and implementing IT audit methodologies, including Sarbanes-Oxley technology controls.
• Knowledge of control frameworks such as COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS, and ITIL.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, Python, RPA solutions, and other analytics tools is strongly preferred.
• Direct supervisory experience, including mentoring, coaching, performance appraisals, work review, and team coordination.

Nice to have

• Professional certification such as CIA, CRMA, CISA, CISM, CISSP, or a similar credential.
• Experience with SAP, Oracle, Workday, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, disaster recovery, systems development methodologies, AI/ML, or data governance.
