Senior Commercial Escrow Officer (In Office)

Salary: $32.31–$43.05 per hour

What you will do

• Establish new commercial escrow accounts and process escrow documents according to established policies and procedures.
• Complete simple and complex commercial real estate escrow transactions while acting as a neutral liaison between buyers, sellers, and lenders.
• Monitor and mitigate company risk in partnership with Underwriting.
• Account for and disburse funds according to contract terms.
• Review, record, and file closing documents; prepare final closing statements, title documents, legal documents, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, delivery dates, and transaction timelines while providing customer service.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of escrow-related experience, preferably in commercial escrow.
• Strong verbal and written communication, customer service, problem-solving, organization, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work with technology, proprietary programs, and new software applications.
• Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and resolve transaction issues.
• Escrow officer certification may be required depending on the state.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
