What you will do

• Execute integrated sales, service, and relationship strategies to grow and retain commercial clients with complex lending needs.
• Develop new-to-bank relationships and expand existing relationships through cross-selling and needs-based solutions.
• Evaluate prospective clients and structure deals to balance credit risk, profitability, and growth.
• Monitor loan repayment, identify early warning signs, and restructure relationships to mitigate future risk.
• Lead commercial lending activity, underwriting standards, market development, and community engagement.
• Collaborate with Treasury, Retail, Mortgage, product specialists, regulators, and community stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field.
• Five to ten years of strong client-relations experience in commercial banking, preferably in roles with increasing responsibility.
• Experience in investments or sales-oriented banking roles.
• In-depth knowledge of commercial banking products and practices.
• Ability to assess lending risk, support sound underwriting, and comply with regulatory and internal-control requirements.
• Ability to supervise, train, assign work to, and evaluate lending staff when required.
