Test Engineer I (Python/LabVIEW)

Location: Syracuse, NY, United States; onsite

Salary: $59,504–$99,173 per year, plus possible annual or quarterly bonus and shift premium.

What you will do

• Create automated electrical test software for multi-chip modules using LabVIEW, Python, or HTBasic.
• Develop Excel VBA macros for data analysis and design test fixtures and circuitry.
• Analyze test requirements for analog, mixed-signal, and power circuits.
• Prepare test plans and procedures based on customer and engineering specifications.
• Collaborate with product design and operations teams on new and existing test requirements.
• Support continuous improvement and technical reviews.

Requirements

• 0–3 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering Technology.
• Knowledge of analog, mixed-signal, or power circuits.
• Demonstrated skills in LabVIEW, Python, or HTBasic for test automation.
• Familiarity with oscilloscopes, signal generators, power supplies, and electronic loads.
• Must have a background that would permit the US Department of Defense to issue a Secret clearance when required.
