Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Location: Melbourne, Florida, United States. U.S. citizenship is required, along with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.

Salary: $110,000–$145,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Develop and integrate machine learning and deep learning models, frameworks, architectures, and pipelines.
• Apply signal processing, data fusion, feature extraction, and advanced analytics to difficult problem sets.
• Build datasets and design controlled experiments to assess algorithm and feature performance.
• Extract relevant information from large structured and unstructured datasets.
• Implement data science and algorithmic solutions for multipurpose mission data.
• Mentor junior machine learning engineers and collaborate with senior scientists.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in machine learning, data science, mathematics, or a related discipline; relevant military experience may also be considered.
• At least 5 years of industry experience in machine learning, data science, and analytics.
• Proven experience implementing data science and algorithmic solutions.
• Advanced proficiency in data science languages such as Python or MATLAB.
• Experience with Linux, structured and unstructured databases, large datasets, and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow/Keras, scikit-learn, or MXNet.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.

Nice to have

• Master’s or PhD in machine learning, data science, mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience extracting signal from noise and developing solutions from disparate datasets.
• DevOps experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Docker or Kubernetes.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
