Annual salary: $169,000–$338,000 in Sunnyvale; $156,000–$312,000 in Bellevue. Additional compensation may include performance bonuses and stock.

What you will do

• Design and develop scalable, cloud-native AI-powered systems with strong architectural integrity and operational readiness.
• Build measurement solutions from zero to one, including incrementality, attribution, data cleanroom measurement, partner integrations, and GenAI-powered reporting.
• Apply machine learning and statistical methods to solve large-scale AdTech problems across real-time optimization and offline reporting.
• Define technical direction, conduct design reviews, and align engineering strategy with business objectives.
• Troubleshoot production and business issues, coordinate resolution efforts, and document corrective actions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship across engineering teams.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in machine learning and data-intensive platform development.
• 4+ years of experience as a staff-level or higher technical lead.
• Experience with distributed data processing and database technologies such as Spark Streaming, Flink, Kafka, Ray, BigQuery, Druid, and Cassandra.
• Experience with machine learning methods for classification, regression, ranking, or recommendation, including transformer model training and real-time GPU-backed inference.
• Knowledge of GenAI techniques and ML libraries such as RAG, re-ranking, agent-to-agent protocols, fine-tuning, PySpark, PyTorch, CUDA, and Triton.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 6 years of software engineering experience, or 8 years of software engineering experience.

Nice to have

• PhD, academic publications, or patents in machine learning, data mining, statistics, data management, or related fields.
• Experience with AdTech targeting, measurement, identity mapping, bidding, auction retrieval, ranking, and optimization.
• Experience with real-time streaming applications, query optimization, distributed systems, and current AdTech or GenAI trends.
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility practices.
