Grid Access Operations Manager (Electricity Transmission & Distribution)

What you will do

• Define and deliver operational strategies for new and existing Grid Access Operations and Maintenance projects.
• Manage 24/7 operational requirements and coordinate delivery across hirify.global departments.
• Monitor contractual performance, gross margin, forecasts, and financial targets with Finance and Commercial teams.
• Promote Zero Harm culture and maintain high QHSE standards, including incident investigation and reporting.
• Lead, manage, and develop GA Hub Managers and Operations teams.
• Build long-term client relationships, address escalations, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Degree in an engineering-related subject or 10 years of industry experience.
• At least 5 years of management experience in the electricity transmission and distribution industry.
• Experience with project and contract management.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of governance and compliance procedures for project delivery and tendering.
• Understanding of CDM Regulations, health and safety legislation, and risk management processes.
