Team Lead D6/G4 (Offshore Wind)

Location: United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland; homeworking and teleworking from home, with offshore work on jack-up vessels and offshore platforms.

What you will do

• Provide technical troubleshooting across mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and lifting systems during heavy lift operations.
• Support major component exchange campaigns on jack-up vessels and offshore turbine platforms.
• Guide and coach technicians and team leads through complex tasks while maintaining procedure and quality standards.
• Identify and escalate technical risks, providing recommendations that protect safety and campaign delivery.
• Challenge unsafe practices and ensure compliance with procedures and permit systems.
• Capture lessons learned, support root cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement in offshore operations.

Requirements

• Proven offshore wind experience on G4 or SG11 and above turbine platforms.
• Strong heavy lift or major component exchange experience, including work on jack-up vessels or offshore campaigns.
• Advanced fault-finding capability across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Strong understanding of lift plans, method statements, risk assessments, and offshore safety systems.
• Ability to lead by example, coach others, communicate clearly with cross-functional stakeholders, and maintain high standards under pressure.
• A calm, practical, safety-first mindset with the confidence to challenge non-compliant practices.
