Senior Electrical Engineer

Location: Hybrid role based at the Antwerp or Brussels office, Belgium

What you will do

• Lead electrical engineering activities across multidisciplinary industrial projects.
• Analyze complex engineering problems and develop effective, cost-efficient solutions.
• Prepare and manage electrical packages for bids, approvals, and construction.
• Support fee proposals, capital budgets, project execution, man-hours, and change control.
• Review electrical engineering work, conduct peer reviews, and mentor junior and intermediate engineers.
• Communicate with clients, vendors, project personnel, and site teams while monitoring and signing off electrical installations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 10 years of experience in industrial engineering design.
• Advanced experience with MV and LV power distribution, generators, UPS systems, lighting, emergency lighting, small power, voice/data, cable containment, fire alarms, security, lightning protection, earthing and bonding, hazardous areas, and specialist control systems.
• Advanced knowledge of electrical engineering codes, standards, and accepted industry practices, including Belgian regulations.
• Experience with short circuit calculations, load flow, and discrimination studies using Caneco or proprietary modelling software.
• Good command of Dutch or French and English is required.
