Operations Production Planner (BI & Analytics)

Location: New Castle, Delaware, United States. Hybrid schedule with 2–3 days onsite each week after an initial 90-day onsite period; remaining days may be worked remotely.

Salary: $80,000–$95,000 per year

What you will do

• Work with Operations teams to understand workflows, identify pain points, and translate business needs into reporting and analytical frameworks.
• Design, build, and maintain accessible dashboards and business intelligence reports for leadership and frontline teams.
• Support resourcing, throughput, capacity planning, and SLA optimization by identifying bottlenecks and reducing turnaround times.
• Bridge Operations and Engineering/Tech by scoping, prioritizing, and tracking technical improvements.
• Combine data from multiple internal systems to identify trends and support operational and strategic decisions.
• Train and mentor employees on data tools, metrics, and self-service reporting practices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in operations or business analytics.
• Strong understanding of data best practices, visualization techniques, and reporting principles.
• Hands-on experience with Lightdash, Tableau, Looker, or similar business intelligence platforms.
• Advanced proficiency with Google Sheets and/or Excel for modeling, ad hoc analysis, and performance tracking.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust and translate requirements for non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work onsite in New Castle, Delaware, including the initial 90-day onsite period, and legally work in the United States.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of experience in operations or business analytics.
• Experience supporting internal operations teams or hirify.global Operations.
• BS/MS in a related field.
• Experience training teams, collaborating cross-functionally, and connecting Operations with Tech or Engineering.
• Experience using AI tools to accelerate analysis and generate documentation, presentations, graphs, or interactive dashboards.
