Oncology Field Medical Director, Thoracic (non-MD)

Location: Remote, field-based in Michigan and Ohio, United States; candidates must currently reside in the territory, maintain proximity to an airline hub, and travel 60–80% of the time.

Annual base salary: $176,600–$294,300, plus a 20% bonus target and eligibility for a share-based long-term incentive program.

What you will do

• Lead medical strategy and engagement with healthcare professionals and other priority stakeholders across the assigned territory.
• Deliver approved scientific and medical education on hirify.global medicines and relevant thoracic oncology topics.
• Provide accurate responses to unsolicited medical inquiries and communicate field insights to Medical Affairs.
• Support clinical trial site identification, Investigator Sponsored Research, advisory boards, and patient advocacy engagement.
• Interpret study design, methodology, clinical data, and disease-state literature for external and internal audiences.
• Collaborate with headquarters Medical Affairs, Oncology Research & Development, Global Product Development, and cross-functional committees.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a health science is required; PharmD, PhD, or an equivalent terminal doctoral degree is highly preferred.
• Relevant experience: 6 years with a PharmD/PhD, 8 years with an MBA/MSc, or 10 years with a BA/BSc.
• Must currently reside in Michigan or Ohio and be permanently authorized to work in the United States.
• Strong clinical and technical skills with excellent oral, written, interpersonal, leadership, and collaboration capabilities.
• Ability to manage complex projects in a remote environment, prioritize effectively, and operate within a matrixed organization.
• Ability to operate a company car, regularly fly, attend meetings and congresses, and travel 60–80% of the time; weekend work may be required.

• Previous field medical experience.
• Familiarity with relevant SOPs, rules, and regulations governing hirify.global and customer interactions.
