Production Trainee

Location: Rubiera, Italy; six-month full-time onsite curricular internship.

What you will do

• Support production process cells through daily management and recurrence management.
• Participate in World Class Manufacturing improvement teams, pillars, and Kaizen activities focused on Lean principles.
• Analyze factory losses, identify countermeasures, and suggest process improvements.
• Support production KPI planning, control, tracking, and benchmarking.
• Develop data acquisition and analysis systems to improve production efficiency and reduce material waste.
• Provide administrative support and prepare presentations for internal and external auditors while collaborating with Quality, Maintenance, and Customer Service.

Requirements

• Active university student status is required for the full internship duration.
• Master's student in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, or a similar field.
• Availability for a six-month, full-time temporary curricular internship in Italy.
• Fluent Italian and English, written and spoken.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills and competence in data modelling, data analysis, and data visualization.
• Basic project management and Lean principles knowledge, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Knowledge of Power BI.
