Windows Server & Database Administrator (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Design, implement, administer, and maintain enterprise Windows Server environments across multiple security domains.
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, federation, certificate services, patching, upgrades, and server lifecycle activities.
• Administer Microsoft SQL Server and other enterprise databases, including performance tuning, security, migrations, backups, and recovery.
• Support VMware, Hyper-V, monitoring, vulnerability remediation, security hardening, incident response, forensic investigations, and system recovery.
• Lead infrastructure deployments, modernization, migrations, integrations, architecture recommendations, and technical roadmaps.
• Mentor administrators, collaborate with cybersecurity and engineering teams, and maintain technical documentation and operating procedures.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret and DOE Q clearances must be held and maintained at the time of hire.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, plus 10 years of progressively responsible Windows Server and enterprise infrastructure experience.
• At least 5 years of enterprise database administration experience.
• Expert knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP, Microsoft SQL Server, PowerShell, and enterprise backup and recovery.
• Experience with secure government, defense, national security, or energy-sector environments, cybersecurity controls, security hardening, and virtualization.
• Work must be performed on-site in Albuquerque, New Mexico; some positions may require US citizenship or clearability for federal access.

Nice to have

• Experience with DOE, DoD, NNSA, or other federal agencies and classified computing environments.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure Government, hybrid architectures, SAN, enterprise storage, high-availability solutions, configuration management, and automation.
• Familiarity with STIGs and federal compliance frameworks.
• Certifications such as Microsoft Windows Server or Azure certifications, SQL Server certification, Security+, CISSP, VCP, or ITIL Foundation.
