Business Analyst (Aerospace Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Analyze business processes and enterprise application workflows to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
• Document business requirements, process flows, work instructions, system procedures, and technical documentation.
• Provide first-level support for assigned enterprise applications by investigating user questions, incidents, and system issues.
• Participate in functional, regression, and user acceptance testing, as well as data validation and troubleshooting.
• Track enhancement requests, defects, and user feedback while supporting backlog management.
• Support root cause analysis, system upgrades, cutover preparation, post-deployment activities, and knowledge transfer.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, application support, IT support, or a related role; internships and co-op experience may be considered.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business, engineering, computer science, or a related discipline, or equivalent education and experience.
• Basic understanding of business processes, information systems, or enterprise applications, with an interest in manufacturing operations and production processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Awareness of data handling and export-control requirements such as ITAR and CMMC in a regulated aerospace and defense manufacturing environment.
• Access to U.S. export-controlled information is required.

Nice to have

• Exposure to ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or Infor.
• Manufacturing experience through employment, internships, or academic projects.
• Familiarity with software testing, defect tracking, IT service management, ticketing systems, or ITIL concepts.
• Experience with process mapping, requirements documentation, Power BI, SQL, or similar reporting and data analysis tools.
