Lead Software Engineer (DevSecOps & Platform Automation)

hirify.global is hiring for a software engineering role focused on DevSecOps and platform automation.

What you will do

• Build, operate, and improve secure CI/CD pipelines for microservices, APIs, platform services, infrastructure-as-code, and AI/ML workloads.
• Develop reusable pipeline templates, platform blueprints, progressive delivery capabilities, and self-service onboarding for product teams.
• Embed SAST, DAST, SCA, container scanning, IaC security, SBOM verification, artifact signing, secrets management, and policy enforcement into delivery workflows.
• Automate cloud and infrastructure provisioning with Kubernetes, Terraform, GitOps, and reusable IaC modules across development, test, staging, and production environments.
• Implement observability, DORA metrics, reliability practices, incident response, rollback signals, and disaster recovery automation.
• Lead delivery for the DevSecOps and platform automation team, conduct design and code reviews, mentor engineers, and create documentation and runbooks.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 4 years in DevSecOps, CI/CD, and platform automation.
• Experience building and operating production delivery pipelines, leading an engineering team or workstream, and applying software supply chain security principles.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD systems such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins, plus pipeline-as-code and reusable templates.
• Strong experience with a major cloud platform, preferably Azure, as well as Kubernetes, Terraform, cloud networking, identity, and secrets management.
• Experience integrating SAST, DAST, SCA, container, cloud, and IaC security scanning, with familiarity with policy-as-code and compliance controls.
• Strong coding or scripting skills in Python, Go, PowerShell, or Bash, alongside troubleshooting, communication, and technical leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting AI/ML or Agentic AI pipelines.
• Familiarity with GitOps tools such as Argo CD or Flux.
• Experience in regulated or highly audited environments and contributions to internal developer platforms or golden paths.
• Relevant Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, or Terraform certifications.
