Senior Data Platform Engineer (ML Platform)

Publicly traded technology company operating in the regulated gaming industry and developing data and machine learning capabilities.

What you will do

• Own and operate Databricks infrastructure for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Build and manage AWS cloud infrastructure with Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Architect and document scalable systems for reproducible and automated machine learning workflows.
• Collaborate with Data Science, Data Engineering, ML Engineering, and Infrastructure teams.
• Lead complex engineering projects from design through implementation and ongoing support.
• Improve platform usability, efficiency, scalability, documentation, and technical standards through reviews and mentorship.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in ML Platform, Data Platform, Infrastructure, or Data Engineering roles.
• Hands-on production experience with Databricks.
• Strong infrastructure-as-code knowledge, especially Terraform or Pulumi.
• Proficiency with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Strong Python skills and familiarity with MLflow, pandas, and scikit-learn.
• Experience operating complex systems at scale and working cross-functionally in fast-paced environments.
