What you will do

• Implement safety programs and review new regulatory initiatives to support compliance at the facility.
• Collect and assess Environmental, Health & Safety program effectiveness data.
• Provide guidance on high-risk field permitting activities and act as a subject matter expert for field safety.
• Conduct safety meetings, routine safety tours, field safety audits, and workplace inspections.
• Deliver safety training and education programs to diverse audiences.
• Assess safety risks and lead the development of appropriate controls and mitigation measures.

Requirements

• Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene standards.
• Experience conducting workplace and equipment safety audits and identifying hazards and risks.
• Knowledge of risk prevention, assessment, and mitigation for field activities.
• Familiarity with incident investigations, interviewing techniques, and root cause analysis.
• Strong verbal communication, coaching, training, judgment, and decision-making skills.
• At least one year of experience in Occupational Safety & Health or a relevant discipline, or a safety specialist designation, is desirable.
