Environmental Health and Safety Professional

Location: Coweta, Oklahoma, United States; on-site

Salary: $85,000–$105,000 annually, plus a discretionary year-end bonus

What you will do

• Plan, implement, coordinate, and maintain safety programs, policies, procedures, manuals, and regulatory compliance processes.
• Conduct employee training, maintain site training records, and mentor employees and leaders on technical safety practices.
• Investigate near hits, injuries, and other incidents, including reporting, follow-up care coordination, and case management support.
• Lead hazard and risk assessments, safety audits, ergonomic initiatives, inspections, and corrective action follow-up.
• Develop project-specific Environmental Health and Safety Plans and identify hazards and environmental impacts before work begins.
• Analyze safety data, communicate performance expectations and metrics, and coordinate with project, client, contractor, and site safety professionals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field; alternatively, an associate degree plus at least two years of related professional safety experience, or completion of an accredited EHS apprenticeship.
• Possession of or ability to obtain and maintain a valid Oregon driver license.
• OSHA 30 in construction or an equivalent certification is required.
• Knowledge of workplace safety regulations, hazardous condition monitoring, safety equipment, incident investigation, audits, and risk assessment.
• BCSP or IHMM credentials are listed for the role.
• Current First Aid, CPR, and AED certification is preferred.
