What you will do

• Prepare and implement health and safety plans, including client-specific requirements, forms, and job safety analyses.
• Collect and interpret data through research, file reviews, field observations, measurements, and field testing.
• Assist with detailed engineering plans, technical specifications, designs, drawings, and site inspections.
• Perform engineering computations and process project data using software and established methods.
• Assist with cost estimates for design implementation and complete other engineering tasks under senior engineer supervision.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree from an ABET-accredited institution in Civil or Environmental Engineering, preferably with an emphasis on water and wastewater.
• 0–2 years of civil engineering experience, particularly in water and wastewater services.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and computer models for hydraulic system analysis.
• Ability to work in Dover, Delaware, United States.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with ArcGIS software.
