TL;DR
Civil Engineering Intern (Civil 3D): Supporting municipal infrastructure consulting projects through civil design, analysis, field surveys, and technical documentation with an accent on water/wastewater solutions, construction environments, and quality control. Focus on developing AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS, and Revit designs, gathering field data, monitoring project sites, and coordinating with civil engineers.
Location: Ridgefield, WA, United States; minimum 20 hours per week from the Ridgefield office

What you will do
- Assist with civil infrastructure project design and analysis using AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and other civil and process modeling tools.
- Participate in field surveys and collect data for project planning and design.
- Prepare and review technical documents, design calculations, reports, and presentations.
- Visit project sites to monitor progress, verify installation, and perform quality control.
- Collaborate with civil engineers on project coordination and attend project and company meetings.
Requirements
- Recent graduate or senior pursuing a bachelor's degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, or a related discipline; ABET accreditation preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and contractor communication.
- Strong Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
- Drafting experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, and Revit.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites.
- Ability to work outdoors and in construction environments as needed.

- Environmental or water quality sampling experience.
- Process or mechanical piping design experience.
