Project Engineer - Site Design (Civil Engineering)

Location: Dallas, TX, or Fort Worth, TX office; flexible remote and hybrid options are available from hirify.global office locations in the applicable regions. Travel for in-office activities, client meetings, and site visits is required as needed.

What you will do

• Prepare planning, civil engineering, and site design documents for mixed-use, commercial, residential, industrial, sports, school, and other land development projects.
• Perform design calculations, prepare cost estimates, and compare alternatives using economic analyses.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, initiation documents, budgets, and progress reports.
• Coordinate designs with internal teams, clients, project managers, engineers, and technical staff.
• Review and direct design work, maintain project records, and communicate project progress and issues.
• Support proposals and business development and potentially manage small projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 6 or more years of related civil engineering experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer status required.
• Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, and regulatory approvals.
• Working knowledge of Civil 3D.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate engineers, technicians, and other staff.
