Associate Manager, Category Leadership - Walmart

Location: Campbell Rogers, Arkansas office; hybrid role requiring work in the office 3 days per week. Approximately 10% travel may be required for customer and team meetings.

Salary: $87,900–$120,900 annual base salary

What you will do

• Support Walmart modular relay processes, including drawing modulars with the Walmart Advisor Team Lead.
• Provide strategic and tactical recommendations to Walmart buyers on distribution, shelving, merchandising, and pricing.
• Develop category, shopper, and consumer insights using market data analysis and syndicated data.
• Support integrated category strategies, customer planning cycles, and implementation of research insights.
• Build working relationships with Walmart buyers and cross-functional partners across replenishment, modular planning, space planning, customer teams, and category management.
• Contribute to category management tools, capabilities, and project execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 4+ years of experience in category management or data analytics within the CPG industry.
• Experience with IRI or Nielsen syndicated data.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, strategic thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Technical proficiency with ProSpace, Excel, Access, or similar tools.
• Ability to work from the Campbell Rogers, Arkansas office 3 days per week. Modular work may require manual labor and lifting up to 30 pounds.

Nice to have

• Experience with JDA or ProSpace and the ability to draw planograms.
• Strategic storytelling skills.

• Experience working independently and with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
