Pre-Sales Engineer (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia)

Location: Remote, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; business travel is required.

What you will do

• Promote Ajax product solutions, provide technical consultations, analyze customer needs, and support key clients alongside the sales department.
• Prepare tender submissions, technical proposals, system architectures, bills of materials, and compliance documentation.
• Support proof-of-concept deployments, system testing, troubleshooting, and enterprise security projects.
• Build relationships with distributors, installers, and other strategic partners while introducing product roadmaps and new features.
• Deliver technical training, seminars, exhibitions, presentations, and webinars for customers, partners, and employees.
• Test product features, prepare technical documentation, and conduct market and competitor research.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within alarm systems, video surveillance, access control, or home automation.
• Strong working knowledge of intrusion systems, IP CCTV, and access control systems.
• Experience installing or designing video surveillance, fire, intrusion, or other security systems.
• Strong communication skills and strong written and verbal English.
• Availability to travel for business.
