Assistant Manager (Fitness)

What you will do

• Support the General Manager with the club's commercial and operational performance.
• Coach, motivate and develop colleagues, including supporting recruitment, onboarding and retention.
• Drive membership, Personal Training and secondary-spend revenue while monitoring KPIs and business performance.
• Deliver an exceptional member experience, resolve concerns and support retention initiatives.
• Maintain cleanliness, presentation, safety and compliance standards, including Health & Safety and pool plant operations where applicable.
• Lead by example, take ownership of challenges and support continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience in fitness, leisure, hospitality or retail.
• Track record of leading teams and delivering business results.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and commercial skills.
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Flexible availability for evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays.
• Level 2 Fitness Qualification and pool plant or Health & Safety experience are desirable.
